Verses to Pray With
Casting All Your Care
He careth for you.
1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
What is happening
Peter wrote to Christians who were being persecuted. He tells them to hand over every worry to God, because God cares about them.
Why it matters
The verse gives a reason: not 'you should be strong', but 'he careth for you'.
Scales
- Small, 12 × 16 in — More intimate. The work sits within the room rather than leading it.
- Classic, 18 × 24 in — Our natural starting point: present enough to hold the wall, with room to breathe around it.
- Large, 24 × 32 in — More presence across the room. The work becomes a stronger architectural element.
